Gajjua

4 years old, Kanchanpuri

M.D Shad is four years old and lives in Kanchanpuri with his parents Md Sikander and Najini, they call him Gajjua with love. He has been a regular student in Asha Mobile School Bus for the last six months. He has an elder sister whose name is Muskan who is also a part of our Asha mobile bus school. He never misses his class even one day. We always see him running towards with a huge smile on his face whenever the bus pulls up.

His family is from Bihar but have been living in Kanchanpuri for the past 19 years.

Gajjua is a very calm kid and not a trouble maker for his teachers nor his parents . Everyday when he gets back home he tells his father whatever he’s learned from the day. His father once shared with our team that he wants to send Gajjua to a hostel far off when he turns five . Our team spoke to both the parents on how important it is for kids to be with their family and experience the nurture and care, given that he is very well behaved.

His father has big dreams for his little son. He wants him to become an IAS officer and serve the country . Next year we look forward to enroll Gajjua to a nearby school and help him with extra tuition in the afternoon.
